Goodnow's 100% bar features cacao from the Ucayali region of Peru. The Ucayali river runs along the east coast of Peru, and is one of the major headwaters of the Amazon. Along its banks sit hundreds of small family farms which provide these flavorful cacao beans. This bar contains no sugar, so the unique and intense flavors of this very special bean are front and center in every bite. One of the reasons this particular cacao was chosen for Goodnow's 100% bar is because of the expertise the folks at Ucayali River Cacao bring to their post-harvest bean fermentation and drying. These two steps are crucial to flavor development, and they've mastered both.

Economy Shipping
Economy Shipping is our non-urgent shipping option for packages that DO NOT CONTAIN HEAT-SENSITIVE ITEMS and are delivered to addresses in the Lower 48. All orders will ship via Flat Rate Shipping unless otherwise specified. Orders will arrive within 3-8 business days, depending on the shipping location. Orders are delivered Monday-Friday. UPS Ground
Orders will arrive within 2-5 business days, depending on the shipping location. Rates are calculated by UPS based on weight and ZIP code. Orders are delivered Monday-Friday.
UPS 2nd Day Air
For faster arrival of your order, the UPS 2nd Day Air shipping option is available (excluding shipments within New England). During checkout, you can select UPS 2nd Day Air; the shipping rate and estimated delivery time will be provided. Please note that the estimated delivery time for some shipping locations may be 1-2 days or longer.
Heat Sensitive Items
Orders containing heat-sensitive items (for example, chocolate) require special packaging during the warmer months and must arrive within two days to prevent melting.
Depending on the weather at your shipping location, orders containing heat-sensitive items will automatically incur a $10 Heat Resistant Packaging Fee. Orders outside New England (MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME) will automatically be upgraded to UPS 2nd Day Air.
To avoid chocolates sitting in transit over the weekend, orders containing chocolate received at the end of the week will be shipped at the beginning of the following week.

Prefer to pick up your order instead? During checkout, you can select In-Store Pick-Up. Orders are available for pick-up Monday-Friday and are ready for pick-up after 12 pm the next business day after the order is placed.
