WALNUT MACAROONS

Ingredients:

• 2 cup Fastachi  walnut butter
• 3 large egg whites
• 1 1/4 cup sugar


Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 300F
  2. Lightly brush two baking sheets with vegetable oil and dust them with flour or line the baking sheets with a non-stick silicone liner.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form while gradually adding the sugar.
  4. Add the walnut butter and beat until just blended.
  5. Drop batter from a teaspoon onto prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, without allowing macaroons to brown.
  7. Remove macaroons from the baking sheet and cool them on a rack.

To make a delightful variant of these easy homemade macaroons, substitute any nut butter of your choice instead of walnut butter.
