What began as a small Boston neighborhood shop has become one of the country's top purveyors of fresh roasted nuts. Souren, Fastachi himself, perfected the craft of roasting nuts the old fashioned way - by hand, in small batches, in steel roasting drums. Fascinated by the challenge of bringing nuts to their flavor peak, he kept a vigilant watch. Soon he began experimenting with mixes that satisfied his robust palate. Then at last, on a winter day in 1990, he created a store to reveal his roasting perfections. Eager Bostonian nut lovers were seduced by the delicate, fresh-roasting aroma, and swiftly succumbed to his one-of-a-kind, full-bodied nut fancy.
